特集号「地熱」一般論文募集のお知らせ
東日本大震災後、国産エネルギー資源が見直される中で、安定的に発電を行うことが可能なベースロード電源として地熱発電に大きな期待が寄せられている。しかしながら、火山国である我が国は世界第3位の豊富な地熱資源量を誇るものの地熱発電設備容量については世界で10位と大きく後退してしまっている。様々な問題が存在するが、物理探査の側面からは、日本の地熱資源賦存地域が主として山岳地帯に位置しているため探査実施に制約を受けることや、極めて強い複雑性を呈する地下特性のため良好な探査結果が得られにくいなどの理由により最適な生産井掘削位置の決定が容易でなく、大きな探査リスクを伴っている。このような探査リスクを軽減し、かつ生産後も地熱貯留層の適切な評価と管理を行うため、様々な物理探査手法を適用・統合解釈することにより地熱システムを理解する方法論の確立が求められている。また、近年では地中熱利用や新たな発電技術であるEGS (Enhanced Geothermal System)などにおいても物理探査が適用されており、ここでも物理探査技術の高度化が要求されている。そこで、本特集号では「地熱」に係る物理探査技術の論文を広く募集し、当該分野に係る技術的な課題抽出とその解決法に関する議論と理解を深めたい。

一般論文投稿に準ずる。投稿の際には「地熱」特集号への投稿である旨伝えること。

Call for papers
Special section on “Geothermal”
After The Great Eastern Japan Earthquake, importance of domestic energy has been re-recognized in Japan. Especially, geothermal energy is expected as baseload power because of its stable electric supply nature. Japan is a volcanic country and have the third potential geothermal resources in the world, however, its plant capacity of the geothermal energy is only 10th. There are several causes of the low position, one explanation is high development risk arose from the difficulty of deciding the optimal position of the production wells because of the poor survey results. From the geophysical viewpoint, reasons of the low quality survey results are restriction of geophysical survey design and high complexity of subsurface structure because geothermal reservoirs are located in the mountainous areas in Japan. In order to reduce such risks and to manage the geothermal reservoirs, we should establish the methodology to understand geothermal energy systems by integrated interpretation of geophysical survey results. Recently, applications of geophysical surveys to geothermal heat pump development and EGS (Enhanced Geothermal system) fields are increasing. In these fields, advancement of geophysical survey methods are also required. Then we plan to have special section on “Geothermal” to discuss on the technical issues and solve these problems.

Submissionprocedure is the same as ordinary papers. Authors should notice their manuscript is for the special sections when they submit their manuscript.
