[Welcome]
It is a great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the 12th SEGJ International Symposium being held from November 18 to 20, 2015. Since its inauguration in 1990, the SEGJ International Symposium has been a biennial event and has provided unique opportunities to deepen international networks in the field of applied geophysics. With more than 200 delegates from over 20 countries, the eleventh International Symposium held in 2013 was a great success. This year, under the theme of “Geophysical Imaging and Interpretation”, the symposium aims to share, discuss, and explore most recent results and ideas, and new directions in applied geophysics.

Expanded Abstract Submission opens: Early March 2015.
Deadline of abstract (extended): June 20, 2015.
Notification of Acceptance: July 31, 2015.
Early Registration opens: Early August 2015.

[Expanded Abstract Submission]
Prospective authors are cordially invited to electronically submit original extended abstracts (including figures) with up to four pages for publication in the symposium proceedings which are electronically distributed to all participants on USB keys. All Expanded abstracts will be subject to a review process to judge the quality.
[Best Presentation Award]
The Best Presentation Award will be given to the author(s) who are considered to have made the most significant contribution to the advancement of applied geophysics. Furthermore, to encourage students in applied geophysics, the Best Student Presentation Award will be given to two full-time students who have made excellent oral or poster presentations at the symposium.
[Post-symposium Technical Tour]
One-day technical tour is planned. The details will be given later.
