Limestone is the most important mineral in Korean mining at present. Recently there are two problems related to geophysical field application. One is the trend to underground mining from surface mining due to the minimization of environmental problems, and the other one is to explore high-grade target by nondestructive technique. Several useful geophysical results in the fields are discussed. The inverted electrical resistivity sections are well co-related with geological structures in this area. Some magnetic results show clear evidence related to hidden granite body, and some magnetic and EM data show good relation with shallow inter-bedded iron ores.
