| 講演要旨(和文) | | 物理探査学会では,技術に係わる社会のニーズに応え,より社会に貢献する学会を目指して技術評価事業を進めている.これは,公益法人等での諸事業において物理探査に関する専門的技術評価を客観的に行い,その後の事業をより有益に進めるための示唆を行うことを目的としている.本報告は、高レベル放射性廃棄物の地層処分場選定プロセスで活用される新しい物理探査について、学会内に物理探査技術高度化評価委員会を構成し、技術レビューを行った結果である。今回の対象技術は、地層処分のニーズに応えるべく高度化開発されてきたものであり,現状の技術レベルに鑑みて最先端に位置する技術として良好な結果が得られていると総括された。特に,海底電磁法のように世界の関心が集まる最新技術を開発し,実証試験において所期の成果が得られたことは特筆に値するとの評価もなされた。このような事業を通じ,物理探査に対する社会のの理解が深まることを期待する。 |

| | 講演要旨(英文) | | One of the purposes for SEGJ is to assure the progress and spread of the geophysical exploration methods and to answer the needs of society as experts. Formed technology assessment commission inside society evaluates the RWMC project which is to research and development of advanced geophysical exploration methods and to confirm validity of the methods through the field tests. This kind of appraisal activity is expected to establish the reliability of the geophysical exploration technique and to progress as the new business. |
