: It is said that there are more than 100,000,000 mines in over 60 countries now. Many people are sacrificed by antihuman mines. Therefore many organizations address removal of antihuman mines. However it is very difficult to distinguish antihuman mine from other objects. And there is a problem concerning about removal efficiency. In order to solve these problems, identification of buried object using GEM-3 has been investigated. As a result of test survey using GEM-3, we found the identification procedure using spectrum pattern of both in-phase and out-phase EM responses.
