2. Special Information on Users of PCs prepared by the SEGJ
- The allotted time for contributed papers is 20 minutes, including 5 minutes for discussion and change over.
- Through the conference the oral presentations will be in the lecture room 1 and 2 capable of holding 200 people. Both rooms will have a single screen. Speakers can use one LCD projector (XGA-size) equipped with a note PC or one overhead projector (OHP) in each room.
- Speakers can use a PC prepared by the society or by himself/herself to be connected to the LCD projector.
- All LCD users should check file compatibility before own presentation.
3. General Information on Poster Presentations
- Users of PCs prepared by the society are requested to bring their MS*.ppt file by CD (ISO9660/XA is recommended) to the registration desk at least half a day earlier own presentation.
- Speakers in the morning sessions on the first day should be requested to send their files in CD-ROM with a speaker's name and program number on it to the office of the society by Friday, May 21 2004.
- CD-ROMs will not be returnable and shredded by the society for security reason.
- The society will prepare note PCs equipped with Pentium III 800 MHz plus more, Windows 2000 or XP, MS PowerPoint XP. Video graphics, animation and link of other computer programs can not be guaranteed on the provided computers.
- Area allocated for each poster
- One numbered poster board has been allocated for each poster paper. The dimensions of a poster board are 180 cm wide and 120 cm high. All materials needed for attaching posters to poster boards are available at the registration desk.
- Display time
- Posters can be shown from 09:00 Tuesday 24 till 15:00 on Thursday, 26 May 2004.
- Times for authors to be in attendance at their posters (Core Time)
- Authors are required to be in attendance at their posters for the hour from 12:30 till 13:45 on Wednesday, 26 May.
- Authors of poster papers will be asked to give brief explanations about own papers during the session from 11:00 till 11:30 on Wednesday, 26 May before the core time on the same day. Three minutes will be allotted to each poster with one or two transparencies if necessary.The lecture rooms where the brief explanations will be held can be found in the conference program page.
