Feasibility study towards elucidation of sea-land seamless geological structure using CSEM method

Abstract
The sea-land seamless geological structure is necessary for understanding groundwater distribution. An electromagnetic survey is useful for revealing fluid distribution. We use a CSEM survey to map the sea-land seamless geological structure. In the CSEM survey, the transmitter is on the land and the receiver is on the seafloor. To investigate the ability of the CSEM survey to map sea-land seamless geological structure, this study conducted a feasibility study using synthetic data. The feasibility study using forward modeling and inversion showed the CSEM survey's effectiveness to map sea-land seamless geological structure.
