| | Abstract | | In the 3-D analysis of magnetic exploration, we often construct the magnetic structure model composed of a number of rectangular prism models. However, if we simulate the undulating terrain or inclined intrusive rock using effective models other than rectangular prism models, it will be possible to construct more accurate magnetic structure model than before. Therefore, I developed the 3-D forward modeling program which can compute the magnetic anomalies due to 3-D polyhedral model. Moreover, I verified the usefulness of this program by comparing with the calculated values obtained from the existing 3-D modeling program. As a result, I comfirmed that this program was computed correctly. |
