Comparison and verification of High-Productivity Vibroseis Acquisition Techniques : A Field Experiment

Abstract
High-productivity vibroseis acquisition techniques have been developed since 1970s. As the following stage, the evolution of both hardware and software in 2000s allows these methods to be widely applied in industry. Previous works show that these methods contribute not only achievement of significant increase of shot points per day but also enhancement of final data quality by denser shot sampling. In this study, several promising approaches are picked up for the field trial test from the perspectives of operation, data quality and efficiency. The field experiment in 2D seismic line was conducted by using five simultaneous vibroseis acquisition techniques and conventional one.
