Example of verification of disaster situation grasping technology in Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program(SIP)

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to introduce the verification example of the damage situation grasp technology in the SIP project. Specifically, it is to verify the consistency between the coherency difference image and the actual disaster area. A coherency difference image is an intermediate product of InSAR analysis. The data used in this study are ALOS-2 / PALSAR-2 images, from Hiroshima to Okayama Prefecture from March 2017 to July 2018, and around Atsuma Town in Hokkaido from July to October 2018. Each was acquired before and after the disaster. As a result, the coherency analysis of these regions is effective in extracting the affected areas, suggesting the possibility as a pre-disaster information extraction technology.
