3D ambient noise tomography adjacent to ACROSS

Abstract
The 3D ambient noise tomography has been conducted near the ACROSS sources operating at Mikawa observatory in Toyohashi. Thirty-six cable-less seismographs were deployed in an area adjacent to ACROSS with 2m grid spacing, and we acquired the data for about 60 minutes. By processing the data, 3D S-wave velocity model was derived, and the result was comparable to the MASW results conducted at the same place. This result suggests the usefulness of the method with ACROSS for the near surface investigation.
