| Abstract | We set up the 4 km length survey line across Yurihara Oil and Gas Field in Akita Prefecture and collected the AMT data at 10 sites. The wide-band MT survey was previously conducted by Mitsuhata et al. (1995) in this area and 2-dimensional resistivity models were shown. The exploration depth of AMT is better matching with the depth of the oil and gas reservoir estimated at 1.5 to 2 km than the exploration depth of the usual wide-band MT. We have got the reliable 2-dimensional resistivity model by AMT and the resistive uplifted zone is regarded as the reservoir of the oil and gas in Yurihara Oil and Gas Field. The similar structure was already shown in the previous resistivity model calculated by the wide-band MT. |
