| | Abstract | | To overcome difficulties in designing of the stations for microtremor array measurements with restricted array geometries, we developed an automatic method using the Google Maps. Our automatic method uses the color information in the Google Maps: the white color represents the street, where we usually install the seismometer. Applying this method to a design for a microtremor array observation in an urban area, we confirmed its advantage over the conventional manual design in detecting several array candidates with only a short time. |
