| Abstract | In the OkuAizu geothermal field (Yanaizu, Fukushima prefecture), the recharge water injection test is carried out to stabilize the steam production. Along with this, a microseismometer (ground surface: 5 points, inside hole: 4 points) was installed for continuous fluid monitoring to continuously monitor AE / micro earthquake continuously. About 1023 events for AE / micro earthquake from the reservoir layer and near earthquake from the surrounding were received in the recharge water injection test conducted in FY 2018. Among them, the AE / micro earthquake that occurred in the vicinity of the geothermal area was 271 events. Also during this period, the average number of events per day was 33 events in total (total of AE / micro earthquake and near-field earthquake), about 9 events of AE / micro earthquake. From the result of this time, no noticeable AE / microearthquake activity due to water injection was observed, and no event defined as "earthquake" which can be felt by people in the target area during the examination also did not occur. |
