Possibility for disaster prevention use of SAR coherency difference image

Abstract
SAR coherency difference image is an intermediate product of InSAR analysis. The purpose of this study is to verify the consistency between the SAR coherency difference image and the actual flooded areas. The data used in this study are ALOS-2/PALSAR-2 images acquired around July 2018 in Hiroshima and Okayama prefectures. The results show that coherency analysis in these areas is effective for the extraction of actual flooded areas, and it suggests a possibility as disaster prevention information.
