| Abstract | We have developed anomaly mapping system of the boundary between the surface asphalt layer and the concrete slab in road bridges using GPR. We adopted the horn antenna with the central frequency of 2 GHz.We acquired in advance surface reflection waveform and concrete top reflection waveform from an experiment using a real size physical model. We determined the arrival time and the amplitude for each empirical waveform by matching the linear combination of the two empirical waveforms and the actual received signal. As the results of experiments using physical model, we could successfully detect not only the anomalies but also the time lapse changing and delineate the distribution. We applied the system to a real road bridge. We are going to verify the top condition of the concrete slab after the asphalt excavation for repairing in the middle of May 2019. |
