Grounded electrical-source airborne transient electromagnetics survey of Tunnel using drone


Abstract
In the tunnel excavation work, we conducted the grounded electrical source airborne transient electromagnetic survey method using drone (drone airborne electromagnetic survey method) in order to grasp the groundwater distribution, fracture zone and fragile part. The tunnel was 220m in length and about 60m in soil coverage. The geology is Mesozoic Jurassic - Cretaceous Mino Terrane, layered chert. From the exploration results, it was possible to clarify the resistivity structure up to the depth of 200m from the ground. From these results, it was confirmed that the drone airborne electromagnetic survey method is effective for grasping fragile parts such as groundwater, faults, fracture zones, etc. beforehand in the tunnel survey.
