Ultra-shallow seismic reflection survey Using a hydraulic vibrator

Abstract
In the seismic reflection survey of the ultra-shallow part, S-wave seismic survey by plate hitting method has been mainly used conventionally. In order to grasp the boundary for the purpose of designing the structure and to check the presence or absence of faults and landslide, high resolution survey using high frequency waves is required, but it is difficult to generate a high frequency pulse wave by the plate hitting method. In this report, with the aim of accurately grasping the geological structure of the ultra-shallow part, we tried to acquire data including high frequency band of around 150 Hz by changing sweep setting of S-wave seismic reflection survey using hydraulic vibrator source.
