| 講演要旨(英文) | The Genko Borui was a defensive stone wall constructed along Hakata Bay in Japan to prepare for an attack by Mongol forces of the Yuan dynasty after the first attack of 1274. In order to prove the existence of Genko Borui and to delineate its location, ground penetrating radar survey was carried out at Hakozaki Campus of Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. As the result of GPR survey, a lot of anomalies due to buried objects were detected. GPR anomalies due to Genko Borui were selected by using the criteria of depth, thickness and width of anomalous reflections. Finally continuous wall line was estimated. |
