Hybrid surface wave survey at an inside the test circuit road

Abstract
Hybrid surface wave survey is combined measurement technique of multi-channel analysis of surface wave survey and linear array microtremor survey. In this study, we conducted a field experiment to evaluate applicability of hybrid surface wave survey. Two survey lines were set at an inside the test circuit road. Each survey line was set 72 geophones at 2.5 m spacing. In passive data processing, inappropriate phase velocity was observed at one survey line due to limited wave propagation. Considering on-site measurement, data quality check at on-site is essential to estimate whether appropriate phase velocity is acquired. The obtained dispersion curve in the other line contained not only fundamental mode but also higher mode. The 2D S-wave structure was reconstructed by multimode inversion technique. Hybrid surface wave survey was useful to evaluate S-wave structure up to about 30m depth.
