| | Abstract | | We carried out microtremor array measurements in Kita-Daito Island in Feb. 2017, to estimate the S-wave velocity (Vs) structure of deep subsurface layers over the basement with a Vs about 3 km/s. The obtained depth of the layer boundary is until about 1000-1500m. The model of 3 layers or 4 layers were obtained from this analysis. The Vs profiles are compared with this study and the results of the exploration at Minami-Daito Island and at the other island of Nansei Islands, Japan in our previous study. |
