Ground Penetrating Radar Survey at Dazaifu Kuratsukasa Area (2)

Abstract
The Kuratuskasa was a branch office of ancient Dazaifu and the tax and local special products were controlled there. The GPR survey was carried out at the C-area of Kuratsukasa in Dazaifu city, Fukuoka prefecture, Japan in 2016 before archaeological excavation. As a result of this GPR survey, some remarkable anomalies were detected at C1-subarea. These anomalies are correspond to the cornerstones which were discoivered after excavation. The additional GPR survey was carried out at A-area in 2017 to find another evidence of ancient Kuratsukasa. The depth-slice maps of A-area are shown in this paper.
