Ultra-High-Resolution 3D(UHR3D) Seismic Survey in Hinagu Fault Zone, Yatsushiro Sea, Kyushu, Japan. -Data Acquisition-

Abstract
To delineate the active fault distribution, an ultra-high resolution 3D (UHR3D) seismic survey which covers 1km x 2km was carried out in Hinagu Fault Zone, Yatsushiro Sea in February 2017. In this survey, four streamer cables of "Autonomous Cable System (ACS)" developed by JGI, Inc. and a boomer source were employed. To acquire high resolution data, the ACS cables were towed at very shallow depth less than 10 cm. Since the ACS does not require cumbersome electrical cablings between the recorder and the streamers, time and labor for deploying/retrieving of streamers can be remarkably reduced. High accuracy GPS navigation system with real-time binning capability also contributed to high maneuverability of the field operation.
