Handy evaluation tool for depth range of a multichannel surface-wave survey


Abstract
We have developed a handy software tool to evaluate the depth range of a multichannel surface-wave survey. The maximum wave length is determined on the basis of frequency-wavelength analysis using 2-D FFT of multichannel data. For depth range in case that higher modes dominates in a surface-wave dispersion curve, we adopted another criterion considering the result of a numerical test.
