Infiltration is the process by which water enter soil through pore spaces and cracks. Furthermore, the water will then move through the soil until it finds water table. This paper explains the changes of saltwater intrusion in Teluk Kumbar area. The duration of this research is in three months and the research area is located at Teluk Kumbar, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. Moreover, the study area consists of unconsolidated marine clay, sand and gravel deposits. 2-D Resistivity Imaging is used to monitor the changes of saltwater throughout the 3months of research and to distinguish between saltwater and freshwater during the research. At the distance of 40m, the changes can be seen clearly because of there are rapid changes of the resistivity value during the three months' period.
