A suspected historic cemetery at Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang has been surveyed by using resistivity method. The objective of this study is to locate the unmarked burials within the study area which suspected to be a historic cemetery. The survey area is 22m in length and 10m wide. There are 11 resistivity survey lines were conducted with orientation west to east and arranged parallel to each other southward. The length of resistivity lines is 10 m and 0.25 electrode spacing with 2m spacing between lines. The data is analyzed and interpreted using res2Dinv software and eleven 2D resistivity model inversion are produced. Based on the model inversion, there are seven anomalies detected with depth of 0.9 - 1.6m. Seven human remains are discovered after archeological excavation and the area is stated as cemetery reserved.
