東部アフリカにおける地下水調査

講演要旨(和文)
東アフリカで二次元比抵抗探査を主体とする地下水調査を実施した。丘陵地に沿って測線を設定し、深さ20m程度までの地盤の比抵抗構造を求めた。比抵抗および試掘ボーリング結果を基に、水理地質構造を推定し、代替ボーリング地点を選定した。英文手引きを参考に調査を実施したが、途上国では容易に揃わない材料があるなど、課題もあった。海外での調査の品質を向上させるには、途上国の技術力を向上させる必要もあり、英文手引きの出版のみでなく、教育が必要であることを提言した。

講演要旨(英文)
This paper presents results of the underground water survey in Eastern Africa which was mainly conducted by the 2D-Resistivity survey. The survey lines were placed along slope strike direction and the data were analyzed to obtain the resistivity structure of the ground. The drilling points were determined by the hydro-geological structure of the ground estimated by the resistivity section and the result of the test drilling survey. The survey was conducted by referring to the 'Application Manual of Method to Engineering and Environmental Problems'. Procurement of some instrumentation materials for the survey in the developing country was found one of the challenges. In order to improve the quality of the surveys in the developing countries, not only publishing the guideline in the English version, but providing education for enhancement of technical skills in the developing countries was suggested.
