Establishment of the Gravity Calibration Network in AIST and Application to the Recalibration of LaCoste and Romberg Model D Gravimeters

Abstract
GSJ (AIST Tsukuba Central 7) previously prepared the calibration line for gravimeters around the Mt. Tsukuba in 1982 and it is in constant use still now. However, passed 30 years makes the gravity values of bases uncertain. Furthermore this calibration line has originally poor performance for micro-gravity survey. Thus we have prepared the new gravity calibration network composed of 5 bases in the site of GSJ/AIST for micro-gravity survey. The data of positioning and relative gravity value of each base are obtained. In the process, we have noticed the data of LaCoste and Romberg Model D#205 different from others. Hence, we try recalibration of this gravimeter (D#205) using the new gravity calibration network in GSJ/AIST.
