| | Abstract | | Magnetotellurics (MT) is widely used for natural resource exploration and deep earth research. MT measurements are usually performed with multiple moving sites and a stationary remote site for remotereference processing to reduce noise. With a conventional MT system, measured time-series data are filed (usually every day) and processed in the office. The new MT system described herein can be easily deployed, set up, controlled, operated and monitored by a PC in remote office. It can stream and process data in real-time. Multiple field sites can be operated in real-time by a geophysicist from a distant ral office. |
