Study on non-contact acoustic exploration method for non destructive inspection - Study about long-distance measurement -

Abstract
The non-contact acoustic inspection method using the laser Doppler vibrometer of high sensitivity and the sound source which can generate big sound pressure in a long distance has been studied. However, inspection in the long distance over 10 m was carried out only with the concrete test object. Then, in the Innoshima ohashi east elevated bridge, the long distance measurement experiment over 30 m was conducted this time. From the result of the comparative experiments using a hammer and a laser Doppler vibrograph, the experimental result obtained by this method was good, and it was confirmed that defective inspection can be carried out even from a long distance.
