Estimation of phase velocities of Love wave from array records of horizontal microtremor by using FK analysis


Abstract
Three component microtremors were observed at the ground of Iwate University by triple triangular array configuration using ten micrometers. The frequency wavenumber analysis was applied to the horizontal records to obtain phase velocity dispersion curves of the radial and the transverse components. Both of them showed the same values as the phase velocities expected from the existing Vs model. As a result of applying the three component spatial autocorrelation method, both of them showed the same results.
