We calculate the compressional and shear wave velocity and attenuation of partially frozen brine and unconsolidated sands as a function of unfrozen water content or frequency based on the existing different two-phase and three-phase rock physical models(different rock scales according to different frequency domain). Moreover, we make precise velocity and attenuation calculation through the pulse ultrasonic measurement that held in partially frozen brine and unconsolidated sands. To clarify the detailed microscopic elastic mechanisms usually as the source of attenuation and dispersion, we compared the ultrasonic measurement results with theoretical values obtained by rock physical models simulation.
