| 講演要旨(和文) | | 文部科学省の地震防災研究戦略プロジェクトの一環としてスタートした「日本海地震・津波調査プロジェクト」において、2014年からJAMSTECの深海調査研究船「かいれい」を用いて、大和海盆西部およびその周辺にてマルチチャンネル反射法地震探査と海底地震計を用いた地震探査を実施した。この調査の目的は、日本海の地震研究の重要な鍵の１つである日本海の地殻構造と地震断層の関係についての研究のためである。特に、日本海南西部に発達する地震断層の理解する上では、大和海盆とその周辺の地殻構造に関する研究を進展させることが重要である。本発表では、これまで実施した探査の概略と暫定的な解析結果から得られた地殻構造の特徴について報告する。 |

| | 講演要旨(英文) | | We conducted marine seismic surveys using a multichannel seismic system and the ocean bottom seismographs in and around the western Yamato Basin, Japan Sea, since 2014. Revealing the relationship between the crustal structure and tectonic history is one of an important key in the research of the source faults in the Japan Sea. In particular, research on the crustal structure of the Yamato Basin contributes to the discussion of the source faults that formed in the southwest Japan Sea. We present an outline of the crustal structure obtained from preliminary results of seismic surveys in and around the western Yamato Basin. |
