Practical use of InSAR time series analysis to ground surface deformation monitoring.


Abstract
We performed a time series InSAR analysis using ALOS/PALSAR data and originally enhanced commercial software to investigate ground deformation around the area affected by disaster. We estimated horizontal and vertical displacement values with more precision by using the vector composition analysis method of bi-directional data. The aim of this study was to evaluate the capability of InSAR analysis when applied to monitoring of an environmental disaster. Our results of this study prove the effectiveness of InSAR analysis for the monitoring of early warning.
