An evaluation test of cross hole seismic tomography in installed MP(multi packer) system for groundwater pore pressure monitoring(Part2)-A trial for updating a site descriptive model-

Abstract
Authors carried out a cross hole seismic tomography test in 2 deep boreholes. One of them was continuously used as a monitoring hole to measure baseline of the deep ground water by a multi-packer system. Measuring probes of the multi-packer system which were installed in the borehole were temporally removed from the borehole however casing pipes were still remained in the borehole. The tomography result showed velocity structure in the Quaternary and the Neogene sediments. A rock mechanical characteristic model which would be utilized for detailed site description was constructed with the tomography result including in-situ, laboratory and geophysical data from 3 boreholes in the test field.
