An attempt of construction of simplified subsurface model in the inversion analysis for magnetic survey

Abstract
Nowadays the inversion analysis for underground numerical modeling is excellent in recovering the realistic and complicated subsurface. On the contrary, retuning buck to the proper meaning of physical modeling, some persons prefer simpler and easily understandable model. Here we intend to come up with one of inversion analysis to output a simpler model. Although we are keeping the number of discretized rectangular blocks, the values of the unknown parameter are limited. First target situation is the dacite dike intrusion within pumice tuff. In our algorism, we start at uniform tuff model, set the "seed block" of dike, and grow up the dike referring the root-mean-square of difference between observed data and synthetic values.
