| | Abstract | | In the recent years, three-dimensional magnetotelluric inversion with full impedance tensor is applied in several surveys. However, diagonal impedances in the tensor are susceptible to Galvanic distortion. Therefore, it is important to evaluate field impedance tensor in the point of view of distortion. In the report, we examined the influence of distortion on the three-dimensional inversion to argue the requirement of considering distortion coefficients in the inversion. |
