Investigation of earthquake ground motions along railway lines, evaluated by site amplifications from the reference site

Abstract
When we evaluate earthquake ground motions appropriately along railway lines, we could reduce a down-time of railway, focusing on an inspection of sites where strong earthquake ground motions are observed. In this report, we evaluated the observed site amplifications and the theoretical site amplifications from the reference site at borehole, along railway lines. Finally, we proposed the use of site amplifications along railway lines, to reduce the down-time of railway after large earthquake shakings.
