Case study of the P-wave velocity of the tunnel ground, bore-hole and cores in the tunnel ground classification

Abstract
The elastic wave velocity of the tunnel ground in a prior geological survey stage was compared with the elastic wave velocity from the logging and the rock core test specimen at the advanced boring in the tunnel construction stage. The authors describe the result that analyzed a difference of the application range of each elastic wave velocity to perform a better tunnel ground classification for the tunnel design.
