Design of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle for Details Observation at a Specific Area


Abstract
Studies of oceanography and observation equipments have been studied and developed all over the world. We also conduct about research and observation about oceanography, by using Manned Underwater Vehicle and Unmanned Underwater Vehicle and so on. Especially, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) is actively researched for improve about operability. AUV is expected more efficient observation of sea floor and sea water, using Sonar, cameras and chemical sensors. As a newly concept, we are developing an AUV, which can observe a specific area in detail at around Underwater Station. This paper describes about design and fluid dynamics of the AUV and its maneuverability.
