Investigation of standard specification of GPR surveys and creation of the prototype database on river-levee related facilities:-2.Design of standard specification and the prototype database-

Abstract In 2013, Japanese Regional Development Bureaus conducted countrywide inspection surveys of river-levee related facilities. In these surveys, many GPR surveys were performed. The PWRI (Public Works Research Institute) inspected survey results and saw irregularity of survey quality as a problem. The SEGJ (Society of Exploration Geophysicists of Japan) founded a committee to review this issue. The committee discussed about standard specifications of GPR surveys intended to river-levee related facilities with a view to survey quality assurance and also made a trial production of the database of GPR data acquired at river-levee related facilities.
