Evaluation of site effects at seismic observation sites in Tottori Prefecture

Abstract
We evaluate site effects of seismic observation sites in the Chugoku region and Hyogo prefecture. Site amplification effects are estimated by spectral inversion technique, we found that amplification factors of site amplification effect of 0.5 Hz are large in the coastal areas of Tottori prefecture. Next, an evaluation of amplification factors of earthquake indices is carried out, amplification factors for PGV are smaller than those for PGA on the whole. Amplification factors for JMA seismic intensity of some observation sites in western Tottori prefecture are extremely large. Moreover, compared with site effects of nearby paired observation sites in Tottori prefecture, it shows that the shapes of site amplification effect and amplification factors of some part of paired observation sites are significantly different.
