カナダのウラン鉱床のコアー試料に対するSIP 特性

In study, we identify the SIP (Spectral Induced Polarization) characteristics for core samples in the uranium deposits of Athabasca Basin, Canada. The core samples are composed of upper sandstone layer and lower bedrock by unconformity plane in the deposits. Although the upper sandstone layer mostly composed sandstone, the under bedrock composed graphite gneiss, politic gneiss, metapelite, siliceous pelite and marble. In the results of SIP measurement for the samples, the SIP response in the upper sandstone was not higher, but the graphite gneiss and pelite gneiss in bedrock was higher. Therefore, the SIP method is useful for the development of the uranium deposits, because the uranium deposits is composed various minerals with sulfide minerals.
