| | Abstract | | Worldwide, the volume of date is increasing rapidly. "Big data" is a term for data sets that is so large or complex. Traditional data processing applications are inadequate for big data. Analysis of data sets can find new correlations. Big data requires technologies to efficiently process large volume data sets. Science has been using big data for a long time and there are some studies to use new big data technologies for science. In this report, we study capability of using big data technology in the exploration geophysics. |
