| Abstract | In the Ikata, Ehime prefecture in the west part of the Shikoku Island, the deep borehole up to 2000m that reaches seismic basement has been drilled and seismographs have been installed at 2000m, 500m,160m and 5m depth, respectively. Since august 2013, seismic recording system has been deployed. In this area where relatively rare occurrence of large magnitude seismic events, therefore the Iyo-nada earthquake occurred in March 2014 is very valuable for evaluation of strong motion prediction. In this study, we calculated Q values using earthquake records. Firstly, we verified an existing model that was estimated by PS-logging with vibroseises in 2012. Then, we conducted Q value inversion using six spectral ratios which were observed in Iyo-nada earthquake 2013. The estimated Q values were conseistent with the previous survey result in 2012. Additionally, we calculate and compare Q values using an upcoming S wave method(Hauksson, 1987). |
