| | Abstract | | An analytical method based on conventional wave equation has been newly proposed to extract seismic flat events related to OWC and OGC from the final results of data processing. Superiority of this method over conventional approach has been investigated and evaluated through some application to synthetic seismograms and field data. Importance of careful data processing has been emphasized throughout this study. Numerical treatment in frequency domain has some merits, especially in execution of integral along the time axis. Nevertheless, ambient noise with low velocity should be eliminated before and/or after application of the current method due to character using trace difference. Practical calculation can be done fast enough due to benefit of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). |
