| | Abstract | | On December 2012, the research of sea bottom structures was conducted in the Kumano Trough off Shingu by multi-channel reflection seismic method. Kumano Trough is one of the serious hazardous quake-prone areas, and many active faults are already reported the existence. But there are not enough data in the near the coastal line area, and a lot of offshore active faults haven't already detected now a days. In this study, the active foldings and the surrounding structures are examined by processing the seismic reflection data. In the consequence, the locations of the blind reverse faults in the Kumano Trough off Shingu city are predicted. |
