| Abstract | Recently, continuous ground degradations with a time-dependent behaviour have led to a damage of the linings or floor heaving in several using tunnels. We are carrying on a study for a diagnostic method in actual tunnel with time-dependent deformation using seismic velocity in order to evaluate the soundness of tunnel ground. The result of seismic refraction survey shows that the seismic velocity of non-deformed section is higher than deformed section. Moreover, it is suggested that the soundness of rock mass can be evaluated by the decrease ratio of seismic velocity. |
