| 講演要旨(和文) | | 地下坑道の周辺に存在する割れ目位置の把握は，高レベル放射性廃棄物の地層処分における安全評価や施設設計にとって重要である．ところが，ボーリング調査などの地質調査のみではその分布を十分に把握することは難しい．そこで，瑞浪超深地層研究所の周辺地質が花崗岩である地下坑道で地中レーダ探査を実施し，坑道周辺の割れ目分布の把握を試みた．その結果，割れ目調査に対する地中レーダ探査の有効性が確認された． |

| | 講演要旨(英文) | | To evaluate the distribution of geological discontinuity such as fractures around the underground gallery is one of the important factors for safety assessment and facility design of geological disposal of high-level radioactive waste, but it is difficult to evaluate them enough only by geological survey such as boring investigations. We carried out GPR to obtain the distribution of fractures around the underground gallery of granite at Mizunami Underground Research Laboratory, and demonstrate its usefulness for fracture mapping. |
