Seismic Reflection Survey around the Mouth of Fuji River

Abstract
We conducted a seismic reflection survey to reveal the detailed structure of Fujikawa-kako fault zone around the mouth of Fuji River in February 2014. Fujikawa-kako fault zone have been identified in this area. Seismic reflection surveys were carried out along the coast by the Shimokawa et. al. (1996) and Shizuoka Pref. (1996), then the Iriyamase fault and the Zenpukuji fault were confirmed, respectively. In this time, we set two survey lines. A survey line FJK1 is located along the coastline, from the mouth of Fuji River to the west, and the length of the line is about 3.5 km. A survey line FJK2 is located from the levee of Fuji River to the west at about 2 km north from the coastline, and the length of the line is about 1 km. On the seismic section, Iriyamase fault is confirmed as a discontinuity of reflection in FJK1 and FJK2. Zenpukuji fault is confirmed as a discontinuity of reflection in near the western end of the line 1.
